The memory of the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi is kept alive at memorials across Rwanda. They are dignified resting places for victims, places of loss and mourning for families and survivors and play an important role in educating about mass atrocity as well as its prevention. 280zxc
The Genocide Archive of Rwanda team spent three days last week at the Transform Africa Summit held in Kigali. During the summit, the team joined local and international IT firms, start-ups and telecommunications firms at the ICT Exhibition where they presented the work of the archive to preserve and digitise the memory of the Genocide against the Tutsi.
