YOUTH AND PEACE BUILDING

Partner of the Rwanda Archive and Library Services Authority, Aegis Trust, through the Genocide Archive of Rwanda team, has trained a team of young volunteers in indexing to help preserve and make accessible RALSA’s digitised archive of historical documents. 258zxc

Aegis Trust has established the Rwanda Peace Education Programme to build peace and prevent future atrocities. The programme is helping to rebuild a society deeply damaged by the 1994 genocide against the Tutsi. As part of the programme, students are taught about Rwandan history and the causes, implementation and consequences of the 1994 genocide. 349zxc
